MI Systems is owned by the government of Israel, and most of their ammunition goes directly to the Israel Defense Forces. A fair bit of their military-grade 5.56×45 also makes its way to America as well. You don’t need to speak Hebrew and avoid working on Saturdays to enjoy pouring this ammo through your AR-15! 5.56 x45 55 grain fmj m193 hornady frontier 1000 rounds
This ammo is made in accordance with the U.S. Armed Forces’ own M193 specifications. That means it has a 55 grain full metal jacket projectile, which is the most popular type of bullet among AR-15 enthusiasts. It offers clean performance and consistent accuracy for target shooting, and although an FMJ doesn’t expand it still leaves quite a crater when it connects with its target.
IMI’s brass cases are brand new and great for reloading. You’ll notice the cases are gray where they have been annealed, which is a heat-treatment process that makes brass more durable. Virtually all 5.56 manufacturers anneal their brass cases – military-grade cases just aren’t polished up afterward, because cosmetics aren’t all that important to soldiers.
This 5.56 ammo is Boxer-primed and non-corrosive. It typically comes 1,200 rounds to a case, but we’ve packaged ten 30-round boxes together so you can lift it all at once without slipping a disc.
